Due to events that were completely out of my control, my wife and I found ourselves in a sudden move. So here I sit in my new room, downloading games on Steam, listening to some Manson with this thought in my mind:
Regardless of all the shit that was tossed in our war, despite all the bullshit events that transpired, and all the tragedy that has fallen in our laps.. we’re doing alright. More so, we’re doing great. This is our new beginning, our metaphorical flip-off of the others whom tried to hold us down and stand in our way
As new beginnings go, I do have a quote I would like to share. I do believe this will be the new template to how I would like to live my life from henceforth:
We meet as strangers, each carrying a mystery within us. I cannot say who you are. I may never know you completely. But I trust that you are a person in your own right possessed of a beauty and value that are the earth’s greatest treasures.
So I make this promise to you;
I will impose no identities upon you, but will invite you to become yourself without shame or fear. I will hold open a space for you in the world and defend your right to fill it with an authentic vocation.
For as long as your search takes you have my loyalty.
